Chief football writer Phil McNulty at Anfield: "Liverpool's Luis Suarez getting plenty of shooting practice in the first 20 minutes at Anfield - but nothing on target. Breaking down Everton will be a bigger test as David Moyes's men have allowed fewer shots on target than any Premier League team. Everton are struggling to score though, so Moyes has - rightly - put pressure on Louis Saha to deliver." A similar result today could see the Trotters jump up to fourth from bottom. Bolton traditionally dominate this fixture with seven wins out of their last eight at home to Newcastle, including both previous Boxing Day games. But the Trotters have won just once at the Reebok Stadium this season and the Magpies are keen to get their season back on track after picking up just two points in their last six games.
