Several of the Republican candidates for president have failed to get on the ballot in some primaries or failed to file full slates of delegates in others, limiting their ability to win delegates in those slates. The exceptions: former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Texas Rep. Ron Paul.
The others:
_Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum failed to get on the ballot in Virginia and the District of Columbia and didn't file full slates of delegates in Ohio and Illinois.
_Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman failed to get on the ballot in Arizona, Illinois and Virginia.
_Texas Gov. Rick Perry failed to get on the ballot in Virginia and had only one delegate file signatures to get on the ballot in Illinois, a contest that will award 54 delegates.
_Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich failed to get on the ballot for the Virginia and Missouri primaries, though the Missouri primary will not award any delegates.
