National Eye Health Care Month ? PineCone Vision Center

Regardless of your age or physical health, annual eye exams are very important to your over-all health and well-being. The month of March was National Eye Health Care month and Pine Cone Vision Center was working extra hard to promote that.

It is important for adults to have their eyes examined to keep their prescriptions current and to check for early signs of eye disease, just as it is equally important for children. Eye examinations play an important role in ensuring vision development and academic achievement among young children. the play an important role in ensuring normal vision development and academic achievement.the play an important role in ensuring normal vision development and academic achievement..

Following the Central Minnesota Wellness Expo, Pinecone Vision Center was pleased to partner with Stride Academy to offer Vision Screenings to students on March 21 and 28.

Did you know almost 80% of preschool-aged children never have an eye exam? Many vision screenings in school don?t test for common eye diseases. You can schedule a regular eye exam to help protect your family?s eyesight!??It?s a great way to start!

At PineCone Vision Center, we provide comprehensive and preventive children?s eye exams.? Our doctors are trained InfantSEE? providers, which gives them the special skills required to detect the early warning signs of your child?s vision problems, helping us catch imbalances before your child develops more serious eye conditions.

It is especially true that parents are concerned about their children?s vision and eye care health, and it is equally important that you screen your children for eye problems at a young age, and on a regular basis.

If you notice your child squinting, covering or closing one eye to see, rubbing her eyes repeatedly, tilting his head to one side, notice redness or tearing in the eye, notice one or both eyes turning in or out, or have a family history of ?lazy eye? or ?thick glasses? it may be time to schedule an appointment.
